It's pretty morale boosting to see one of your old mates wants to revive the old soccer club.
And it's pretty much random, the most random things that i had ever encountered other then myself.
Well, of course i'm in with him.
It's pretty right that I should be in with him, since we are classmate for years afterall.
It's been sometime since I had passed out from Pulau Tekong aka Pulau Tekan and although it's more then a week, i feel that it's been month since i had passed out.
The only gathering we had was the BBQ at GV's condo and indeed, we realised that although it's only a few day since we had seen one another during POP and the BBQ, each and everyone said something like it's been quite sometime.
I'm wondering if the 26 weeks together had actually managed to made us miss one another to that extend?
Well, i don't really deny it nor acknowledge it but it's heart warming to see one another calling each other to check out what posting they got into.
It's irony.
We often use to fuck with one another during the time in Tekong and i seriously mean the word fuck and surprisingly, we still turn out to be cool with one another after everything.
Majority of them got into Driver, a couple of them got into Combat Medic, some Reigenmental Police, minority of them got into Storeman and Supply Assistant, while the remaining got into Signals, like me.
I wondered, how often would we get to meet one another during our serving of NS. How often would we set a date to make another gathering again.
I don't know if it's fate or coincidence.
My mustaffa (YES! HE'S MINE!) ended up as a Supply Assistant with istiady, while i ended up in signals with istiady's buddy, dominic.
The best part is, we buddy buddy got in the same camp.
Well, every beginning will have an ending and every ending is a new beginning.
No doubt the times we had during our PTP and BMT will be missed, the fun that we had together in bunk, toilet and even in field camp.
Many of a time, many people says BMT sucks while some claims that it's the best time you will have.
I have to say that BMT is one of those time that i really had fun in my life and it will be the best time i ever had.
26 weeks, 6 months.
Many asked us how we managed to tahan, especially the 2nd batch of Cougar that's opposite us in Tekong.
Well, we just did it like how other previous batch did.
No secret, no nothing.
Oh well, the feeling of reporting to the new unit is excatly the same feeling i had during my enlistment.
No idea why, but the anxious, scared, excited and lotsa feeling is there.
Probably i'm worried about the new environment that i'll be living in for the next few months, that it might not be as good as my D coy.
On the other note, i guess it's time to really give up i guess.
I've been thinking and thinking and thinking about the email that i had sent and received 6 month back.
And yes, after much thinking, i've decided to move the particular contact away from the particular group and probably leave the particular group empty until a suitable contact can be place in.
