Yes, YOG is in Singapore.
And finally, the Opening Ceremony is over!
After all those pushing of the Giant Monster.. We finally did it perfectly with no mistake..
Still remembered those days when i just came back from my oversea exercise at taiwan, we have students from different schools coming into our Mandai Hill Camp doing rehearsal for the performance and took our multi purpose hall away!
We were even being chased away from the hall while we were playing basketball halfway.
Of course, it's kinda absurd though. But thankfully, i left for bike course a week later, if not, we really can't find anything else to play.
Then bike course ended with some test-your-gut obstacle at Mandai Camp II. 60 degree gradient slope all the way up to 6th storey and down, it was the highlight of the cross country entire training.
Some "ball" testing activity eh?
Then it's back to YOG, pushing of monster. In fact, our Giant Monster didn't reach the Float as early as we expected, and so, we rot the entire day doing nothing. Not only for 1 rehearsal, but around 2-3. At times, we had to hold a board with the word "Monster" on it and walk out.
Crazy time we had during the YOG rehearsal was classic.
Talking cock among ourselves was the only way out for the long waiting time at backstage.
i don't know how much we had spend at marina square watching movies, playing bowling, fishing and eating during the past few weeks. But it definitely had to be one of the best moments i have in my entire NS life.
Now that YOG Opening Ceremony is over, everything was done the way it should be done, and it's time for Closing Ceremony already. At times, i do miss the time we had at the rehearsal for opening ceremony. It's a once in a lifetime event, just like serving NS.
Once in our life, 2 years of our time.Never had i imagine myself involved in such a mega event while serving the Nation.
Perhaps it's time to change my blogskin or move to some other web for blogging.. should i?
The next big thing after YOG would be............
WALLABYYYYYY!!!!!!!
This time round, it's time to go to australia!! For another oversea exercise again!
At least this time round i have my bike with me! Unlike taiwan, had to use my trustworthy pair of legs.
Shall blog more the next time i guess..
